Head of High Performance (AFLW) – West Coast Eagles
Wes has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Australia, majoring in Sport Science, Exercise and Health (2013). He completed Honours research in Exercise Physiology (2014) and is finalising his PhD Thesis regarding the performance effect of both caffeine and carbohydrates in athletes.
Professionally, he is currently the Head of High Performance (AFLW) at the West Coast Eagles. He coordinates all aspects of the athlete’s training program, including training loads, gym sessions and rehabilitation.
Wes also has experience working with both Male and Female athletes across a variety of sports, including WAFL, NBL1 and athletics.
Wes enjoys helping people to reach their athletic and sporting goals, with special interest in strength training and running mechanics.
