WA SportsMed is now offering a comprehensive Cycling Performance Assessment service with APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist, Marina Torres.
Our Service inclusions:
Drawing on her experience as both a clinician and competitive cyclist, Marina's assessment identifies:
- Key strength deficits
- Mobility restrictions
- Asymmetries
- Movement patterns that may be limiting performance or contributing to injury risk
Cyclists can choose from a range of packages, including:

Individualised strength and conditioning, rehabilitation or injury-prevention program

Supervised training sessions in our state-of-the-art facility with ongoing re-testing and lactate threshold assessment

Premium package incorporating VO₂ max testing for a complete performance profile
Whether you're chasing a podium, tackling your first event, or looking to ride pain-free, this service is designed to help you get more from every pedal stroke.
Level 1 - Individual 12 week program ($530)

90 minute screening consultation including comprehensive history taking, mobility assessment, strength testing and motor control assessment

Individual program development to address deficits and goals

30 minute follow up consult to go over program

30 minute re-testing session at week 12 to assess progress and new program development.
Level 2 - Supervised program ($1,255 for 6 weeks or $1,840 for 12 weeks)
- 90 minute screening consultation including comprehensive history taking, mobility assessment, strength testing and motor control assessment
- Individual program development to address deficits and goals
- 30 minute follow up consult to go over program
- 30 minute re-testing session at week 12 to assess progress and new program development.
Level 3 - Supervised premium performance program ($1,565 for 6 weeks or $2,165 for 12 weeks) with an option to add bike fit at $2,585
- 90 minute screening consultation including comprehensive history taking, mobility assessment, strength testing and motor control assessment
- Lactate threshold and VO2 max assessment with Exercise Physiologist including education on effective training zones for the individual
- Program development to address deficits and goals
- Supervised twice a week 60 minute sessions using our state of the art centre (option of 6 week or 12 week block)
- 30 minute re-testing session at week 12 to assess progress and new program development.
- Lactate threshold and VO2 max re-testing to assess gains
- Option of adding a bike fit - highly recommended for those who have never had one or not had one in over 2 years
