- Diabetes, weight or obesity management,
- Chronic joint/muscle pain,
- Mental health issues (anxiety, depression)
- Pre & Post Surgical Rehabilitation
- Neurological conditions

- Sedentary lifestyle conditions (lower back pain, problems with posture)
Within the service, you will receive:
- Individualised health and fitness assessments designed to outline your strengths and identify any areas requiring rehabilitation and improvement,
- Comprehensive exercise programs designed with your goals, previous injuries and health conditions in mind,
- Education and support on what to do and what to avoid to best manage your injury or condition.
Type 2 Diabetes Exercise Physiology Program
Type 2 Diabetes is characterized by persistent hyperglycemia, or excessive glucose in the bloodstream, which can lead to adverse health conditions. Physical activity and exercise training are regarded as essential components in the management and prevention of type 2 diabetes. Exercise helps with glycemic control and enhances muscle strength, body composition, aerobic capacity, and endothelial functions. It also reduces insulin resistance.
As part of WASportsMed's Type 2 Diabetes Exercise Physiology Program, our accredited Exercise Physiologists conduct thorough assessments with participants that consider several factors, including their medical history and fitness levels. We then design exercise plans tailored to the individual and provide one-on-one coaching for the safe implementation of each personalised program.
Take control of your health with our Type 2 Diabetes Exercise Physiology Program.
