Clinical exercise, or Pilates, involves targeted strengthening and movement and is utilised in the rehabilitation and prevention of many musculoskeletal conditions.
We ask that our patients complete a class assessment that will involve a review of your injury history, an analysis of your movement quality as well as an introduction to the types of exercises deemed best to achieve your goals.
Clinical Pilates classes will provide an individualised approach to your treatment, unlike regular Pilates classes in which all participants participate in the same generalised program. Our Physiotherapists utilise mat work as well as various Pilates equipment, including reformer work to achieve your goals.
No previous experience is required- our classes are supervised to ensure you feel comfortable and confident! Our Physiotherapists will provide hands-on feedback and adjust any exercises to suit your level/ ability.
Maximum of 3 participants per class to ensure individualised coaching and attention
