Continence and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Continence and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy is a specialized branch of physiotherapy focused on addressing issues related to the pelvic floor muscles, which play a crucial role in bladder, bowel, and sexual function. These muscles can be weakened or dysfunctional due to various factors such as childbirth, aging, surgery, or lifestyle habits.

Do you know how to perform pelvic floor exercises properly?
Pelvic floor issues often come to our attention during the pregnancy and post-natal period. This is due to the additional strain the pelvic floor muscles are under whilst carrying and delivering a baby.
Whilst symptoms are common during this time, they are not "normal".
It is important that they are addressed by a trained Pelvic Health Physiotherapist.
Pilates classes.
Our clinic offers Pre and Postnatal Pilates classes run by qualified Pilates Physiotherapists. These classes can help to strengthen the pelvis and core to assist with pregnancy and the post-birth period. We also focus on stretching and mobility for the changing body and recovery.
