Tom is a titled APA Sports Physiotherapist who currently works full time with the West Coast Eagles AFL team as their Rehabilitation Physiotherapist. He enjoys providing the same elite care to his patients at the clinic.
He completed his studies and Masters of Sports Physiotherapy in Perth and has 10 years’ experience in Physiotherapy. He has previously worked with Basketball WA and East Perth football club. Tom has a passion for helping his patients alongside his current work at the West Coast eagles. This allows him to provide:
- Detailed assessment beyond the standard level to provide a clear management plan to return to sport and back to a healthy life.
- Combination of exercise rehabilitation and high-quality manual therapy to improve pain and recondition following injury.
- Great understanding on the scope of practice and how to combine with Doctors, Exercise Physiologists, and other therapists to achieve a common goal.
- Focus for patients to take control of their rehabilitation, allowing them to return to an active lifestyle and to achieve their goals.
Tom has excellent expertise in treating all injuries with key interest in:
· Complex Hip and Groin pain
· Recurrent Hamstring and Calf injuries
· Joint Cartilage and bone related overuse injuries.
· All Post-Operative Rehabilitation – Knee(ACL/PCL), Ankle, Shoulder, Hip
Personal interests include social running/swimming events and playing football at Trinity Aquinas where he is a A grade premiership player and former captain.
