Rowing Australia Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates Instructor
Sarah is a titled sports physio, currently working with the Australian Rowing Team. She is a qualified Pilates practitioner and has completed a Masters degree in Sports Physiotherapy at Curtin University. She has a keen interest in rowing injury management as well as other endurance sports such as cycling, running and swimming.
Having previously rowed herself she is passionate about the sport. Having worked with Rowing Australia since 2017 she has loved travelling with the U19 & U23 teams to World Championship events as well as being the team physiotherapist for the Tokyo Paralympic games. Sarah utilises a combination of manual therapy, strength & pilates rehabilitation techniques to optimise recovery and return to maximal performance, tailoring programs to suit her clients specific needs and goals.

- Low back pain
- Rib pain and injuries
- Tendinopathies
- Biomechanics of hip and knee injuries
- Swimming related shoulder pathologies
Other areas of personal interest include training and participating in endurance sports herself having competed in the Busselton Ironman, multiple half Ironman events and completing a solo Rottnest swim crossing! Given her participation she has first hand experience with injuries associated with all three triathlon disciplines as well as an in depth understanding of load management and training program design.
Outside of working and training Sarah loves spending time at the surf club or running with her 2 dogs!
